Gift for my mother

She loved the Chittara work and said it reminded her of home in Karnataka.

Chittara art
From the Malnad hills of Karnataka.

Chittara is painted by women of the Deevaru community in Karnataka’s Malnad region, traditionally on mud walls for weddings and festivals. It uses only four earth colours (red, white, yellow and black) and builds intricate geometric patterns line by line.

Our lattice design follows that grid, interlocking and calm. We paint it by hand onto each shade, one at a time. By day it is quiet and precise. Switch it on, and the lattice casts a soft pattern of light.

Because a person paints every piece, yours will differ slightly from the photos. That is the mark of the hand, not a flaw.

Is the bulb included?

Yes. Every lamp comes with a 7W warm LED bulb (2700K, E27 fitting), so it works out of the box.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?

Close, but not identical, and that is the point. Each shade is painted by hand, so line weight and colour vary a little from piece to piece. Yours will be one of a kind.

What if it arrives damaged?

We will send a free replacement. Share a photo or unboxing video on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery.

How long does delivery take?
